My cottonwood bud oil is double infused in avocado oil (populus deltoides). It is a golden color, and you can smell the famous cottonwood scent. Please note that each batch can vary in scent/thickness. This oil does have a slight stickiness to it, due to the large amount of resin in the oil. Strained on 8/13/25.

Cottonwood is helpful for muscle pain & modulates inflammation. I find that it's helpful with 'stress pain', like when you've been overthinking and maybe your neck hurts from the tension. It's also useful for minor skin irritations with redness involved and is microbial. But I'll be honest and say that the scent is my favorite thing about it:) I absolutely love the scent, and that alone lifts my spirits:) I collect the buds right along Seneca Lake, as there are some beautiful, giant cottonwoods along the water. I can only imagine how old these trees are, but I feel so peaceful in their presence. I will often sneak a hug in, when no people are around...ha!
