Dandelion flower oil is like sunshine in a bottle! This oil was made with avocado oil & loads of dried dandy flowers (taraxacum officinale), infused over low heat for many weeks. It is a bright yellow when applied, so be careful with light colored clothing & blend well if using on the face, you may appear yellow:) (it's basically the same color as the flower). NOT an essential oil, this is an infused oil. Flowers collected in spring of 2025. Strained on 6/25/25. This batch has a very mild scent. **May contain some bits of flower pollen, sorry, hard to strain that out! Bottles are 2 oz in size.

Dandelion flowers are rich in luteolin, which is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant (polyphenols) & anti mutagenic. These compounds are fat soluble, which is important for skin absorption.
Other uses for dandelion flowers:
Try not to hate these if they grow in your yard! They tend to show up in depleted soils, and they know what they are doing:) They show up to start building soil, with their taproots that pull up minerals from down below. They can go crazy and be invasive, which can cramp a person's style.... but consider leaving a few around. Once the leaves die, they start adding nutrients to the topsoil. This is on top of being one of the first spring pollinators for bees, on top of being a very nutritive green which is often needed to kickstart the ole digestive system after a winter of heavy carbs/fats (which helps keeps us warm, don't feel bad about craving/eating them in the winter season!). I eat the flowers every time I stop outside. They are mildly sweet, but bitter too:) You don't need to eat copious amounts of wild food to benefit from them, a few leaves/flowers each day will suffice. It's truly a valuable plant, and it's wild that people spray poison on it so easily. Befriend this gift!
