Herbal dandruff rinse targets the bacteria that contributes to dandruff. I steep large amounts of anti-bacterial plants in organic apple cider vinegar (Fair child's - small business quality brand!). Made on 6/5/25.
Ingredients: Fairchild's apple cider vinegar, thuja leaves, bee balm, arnica & calendula flowers
To use: You can apply this directly to the scalp or dilute it with water to make it last longer/be less overpowering scent wise. I would not dilute it more than 1:2 though (1-part herbal rinse to 2 parts water). Apply to dry scalp (fairly clean, doesn't have to be perfect) and massage in with fingertips (for extra strength: add baking soda as well). If your scalp is not too sensitive or irritated, scrape the dead skin with your nails & really work the vinegar in. Do this for 5-10 minutes & then leave the vinegar on for another 15-30 minutes. Rinse out with warm water & shampoo as normal.
This is also very cleansing to the scalp, so even if you don't have dandruff, you can use this as a scalp cleanse.
