Pine pollen hormone tincture is made from Eastern White Pine pollen that I collect from my property. This tincture is for both men & women, for hormonal support. I include young pine needles as part of the water content in the menstruum, which gives a slight pine flavor to the tincture. Please dilute with water or juice before taking as the higher ABV gives it a stronger sensation while ingesting. This tincture is shaken daily while macerating & steeped for only 4 weeks, as the higher ABV requires a shorter time. I do filter out the pollen, but because the ABV is higher, it breaks down the pollen & makes it hard to filter out, so there is some powder left in this tincture. Made on 7/9/25.
Ingredients: dried local pine pollen, young white pine needles, menstruum is Everclear + spring water in 1:2, approx 70-75% ABV
**OPTIONAL FULL SPECTRUM NETTLE ROOT BLEND** - Pine pollen & stinging nettle root work synergistically, so I'm offering the option to substitute 1/4 of this tincture with full spectrum stinging nettle root tincture. Just choose the 'stinging nettle' option. I recommend this! The stinging nettle root tincture is full spectrum, meaning all properties are collected by macerating in both lower & higher ABV, then combining. The stinging nettle tincture is made with dried root, 1:5, 65% ABV, so this will change the final ABV a small amount.
In order to capture the hormone beneficial properties of pine pollen, you need to extract it in a higher ABV, ideally 70-75%. Lower ABV will capture antioxidants but not the hormone specific properties. There are also some antioxidants captured in the higher ABV, but the main focus is for hormone assistance.
How to take:
For men, take this tincture daily as needed, from morning to late afternoon. Not recommended to take in PM, when testosterone levels naturally decline.
For women, take during the follicular & ovulatory phases of your cycle, to support testosterone levels.
