Solomon Seal root is slow infused in avocado oil on very low heat to extract desired plant properties. Strained on 4/23/26.
Ingredients: solomon seal root (dried), avocado oil
I think Jim McDonald has the best ramblings on Solomon Seal root:) The root is moistening so it's suitable for dry conditions. Just break a root and you'll feel how slippery & mucilaginous it is. This oil is made with partially dried root, then put over low heat until all moisture evaporates, which helps to capture the properties of this plant. Most use solomon seal for joint issues: inflammation & dryness. It's known to help lubricate & nourish connective tissues (a relatively ignored bodily function! As a former massage therapist, I can tell you that you were not doing anything to relax a muscle unless the connective tissue said it was okay:) Many emotional releases can occur when working with connective tissue). This root shines in connective tissue issues (fun to say:)). Try this oil when you are recovering from a broken bone, a sprain, pulled muscles, for injuries due to hypermobility, 'frozen shoulder' and joint pain if it's not tied to an autoimmune disease - which can be more complicated.
This oil is also in my muscle & joint salve, found here:
