lymph balm - poke, violet & calendula blend

My lymph balm is made with plants that hold lymphatic properties, collected from my property or foraged locally. Each plant is dried & steeped in avocado oil for several weeks (with the exception of cleavers, which must be infused fresh wilted to get its lymphatic properties. I then removed all water content). All my balms are Essential Oil Free, which I think is worth mentioning as I personally would not want to put essential oils near lymph nodes. Made on 7/6/25.

Ingredients: violet leaf, calendula flowers, cleavers, poke root, hexane free castor oil, avocado oil, grass fed tallow, beeswax

Caution! Contains 10% poke root, which can be irritating to some people & overtaxing to the liver in large amounts. Use externally only on skin that is not broken. Do not use near mucus membranes (like near your eyes). Avoid prolonged, frequent use. Ex: Use 3-5 days, then wait same amount of days before using again. Do not use on children. Do not use if pregnant, nursing or have liver issues.

Cleavers, calendula, poke root & violet are known plants with lymphatic properties. Lymphatics are also stimulated by massage (former massage therapist here:)), and by 'walking' (the bottom of your feet act like a lymphatic pump when you walk or get foot massages), so be sure to massage this balm into the tissue well.
