Wormwood is extremely BITTER! Bitter herbs help stimulate digestion, but this is a plant that takes very little, as it is so strong in taste and bitterness. The most popular use of this plant seems to be for parasites. It can be taken alone, or you can add other anti-parasitic herbs with it, like clove, ginger, cat's claw, and black walnut. Parasite cleanses can be complicated and last for weeks or can be short & easy (ex: 3 days, taking herbs 3X per day).
Wormwood is anti-malarial. It does contain amounts of thujone, which is toxic in large amounts. This is an herb to take on & off, not daily for long amounts of time. Use your discretion and consult with a clinical herbalist if you are unsure of how to take this herb.
