muscle & joint salve - for pain and nourishment

Muscle & joint salve contains nourishing plants that aim to relax tissues, while decreasing pain. This salve is Essential Oil. *Avoid touching your eyes after using this balm, the cayenne pepper in it can create a burning sensation. (a friend of mine accidentally put this on her lips once...ha!) Made on 12/5/25.

Ingredients: arnica, crampbark, white willow resin, kava root, comfrey root, solomon seal, helichrysum, yarrow flower, st john's wort, juniper berry, cayenne, mullein root, coffee bean, lavender, mugwort, rose, ginger, cottonwood, avocado, hexane free castor & organic coconut oil, beeswax

The plants selected for this balm are strategic:) We have solomon seal, comfrey root & mullein root for connective tissue repair, cellular healing & nerve pain... arnica, crampbark, white willow resin, cottonwood, juniper berry & st john's wort for pain relief... lavender, kava, mugwort, rose (st john's wort again) to uplift, relax & calm (maybe even sedate just a tiny bit!)... ginger & cayenne, coffee bean to disperse & increase circulation. I'm sorry but it is really hard for me to leave some of these plants out! Am I guilty of being addicted to the healing properties of plants? Maybe:)

Muscle & joint pain issues are a complicated matter. I do believe that our emotions & emotional conflicts play a big part in 'pain'. So while I will always have some pain salve around (did I mention that I just fell down my front stairs from slipping on ice???:)), I do think that chronic pain is often rooted in emotional turmoil. German New Medicine states that it is a self devaluation conflict... meaning that there is an area where you feel like you have no worth in some form. So while you are rubbing this into your body, try to connect with the area that is experiencing the pain. What emotions come up? As a former massage therapist, I can confirm that those who were in the most pain, were suffering the most emotionally. Our body stores these emotions until they are felt and seen. Just thought I would throw that in:)
