Vein salve is made with a large amount of horse chestnut oil, and other assisting plants. It's Essential Oil FREE & CONTAINS NUTS. Please do a skin patch test before regular use. Use within 1 year of purchase. Keep salve out of high temperatures & do not allow any moisture inside of tin (clean, dry fingers only!). Please note that each batch can vary in scent & texture, although I try my best to keep them consistent. For external use only. Made on 7/27/25.
Ingredients: horse chestnut, gotu kola, yarrow, white oak, violet leaf, plantain, calendula, comfrey leaf, hexane free castor oil, organic coconut oil, avocado oil, grass fed tallow, beeswax
DIRECTIONS: Use daily on clean skin (ideally twice per day if it becomes rubbed off by clothing, etc). Exfoliate the area if there is dead skin, which can help with absorption. Use consecutively each day for at least 2 weeks if using externally, but ideally until tin is empty.
This is a unique formula I created, which started from a love of horse chestnuts:) The main ingredient of this salve, horse chestnut infused oil, is made strategically to capture the desired compound, aescin. Nuts are also processed specifically to reduce esculin, which can cause distress if ingested in large amounts (which you most likely will not do, because this is for the skin & not to be eaten:)) The other ingredients are chosen for their properties to tone & nourish veins. You can use it on varicosities (spider veins, varicose, hemorrhoids - again, clean fingers only in the tin!), pain that is connected to veins (I use this behind my knees at night if I have that vein pain feeling, which I get from standing most of the day). I have also used this on moles & growths that look like moles (pale in color, but mole shaped) successfully. The growths decreased in size and a couple of my moles went away almost completely. I get alot of messages from people asking me if this will heal all of their vein issues, and I honestly cannot say. Some people buy this and have great success, others may not. Nobody responds to things in the same way, even with prescription drgs or food! All I can promise you is that this product offers you the desired chemical compounds from the plants, with quality and freshness.
Ramblings:
See pictures of what a horse chestnut looks like; they have a greenish shell with tapered 'spikes', which quickly brown after they fall to the ground. Not to be confused with American chestnut, which has a 'fuzzy', bright green shell, and is not as 'round' as a horse chestnut. These are one of my favorite plants to forage! (kind of like an Easter egg hunt:)). The horse chestnut tree without leaves does appear similar to the circulatory system in appearance, and the exterior of the nut also has vein like patterns in it (see pictures).

I bought this product for my spider veins and it does fade them if temporarily. I hope with time they get stay faded for a longer amount of time, but I know its a process. lt's important to me to use a natural product that I could use long term on my skin.

I haven't tried it because it's a Christmas gift for my mom. But I opened it and I was worried what it would smell like, but it doesn't have a strong smell, it's a nice and clean smell. I think she will love it!
So far, this vein salve is working really well! It is a stiff salve, so you have to take your time to work out what you need. It stays in place on your skin, and has only a faint, clean, medicinal smell. I have combined this salve with compression socks, a cleaner diet, and dry brushing, and my large varicose vein from when I was pregnant is reduced in size by about 2/3!
