Rosehip oil is made from whole fruit rose hips, emulsified & infused into avocado oil (all water content is removed). One rose hip has an incredible amount of seeds, so it makes sense to use what is growing all around me, as there are endless rosehip seeds going to waste! I use 3 different types of foraged roses (multi flora, beach rose & rosa rugosa). Made on 12/4/25. Use within 1 year of purchase. Comes in a brown, glass bottle with dropper - 1 oz size only.
Ingredients: rosehip seed & fruit, avocado oil
The fruit is high in vitamin C, but since vitamin C is water soluble, I can't tell you if there is much vitamin C in this oil (a bit of the red color in the fruit does tinge the oil somewhat). But what I'm after is the vitamin E content from the seeds. By emulsifying the seeds into the oil, I am able to extract some of the seed oil. The final product has less concentration of oil than commercial expeller pressed rosehip seed oil, but it's fresher & uses the whole plant (I make this oil fresh each year). Made with all natural ingredients and NO essential oils. This oil is kept refrigerated until sold. Use as a facial or skin serum, as this is nourishing & moisturizing.
